Bayside Excursion: Luxury Escape in Rosario Islands
Choose a quiet Rosario Islands day pass built around limited capacity, à la carte dining, and a more intimate island atmosphere. Bayside, formerly known as Isla Coralina, is designed for travelers who prefer calm surroundings, thoughtful service, and a refined alternative to louder beach clubs.
A Refined Island Day with Limited Capacity and Calm Beach Club Service
Bayside, formerly known as Isla Coralina, is one of the most intimate island retreats in the Rosario Islands National Natural Park. With limited guest capacity and a calm natural setting, this experience is a strong fit for travelers who want a slower, more refined day near Cartagena without the high-energy atmosphere of larger beach clubs.
The setting blends native vegetation, coral surroundings, sea views, and a restaurant-focused island experience. Depending on the selected plan, guests can enjoy round-trip shared boat transportation, towel service, freshwater showers, kayak or snorkeling equipment when available, purified water, à la carte lunch, cocktails, and a relaxation massage.
This is not a party beach club. Bayside is better for couples, quiet travelers, and guests who value food, calm service, and a smaller island environment over loud music, crowds, or a packed beach club scene.

Important Information
- Limited-capacity experience: Bayside is designed as a quiet, low-capacity Rosario Islands day pass. It is better suited for travelers who value calm surroundings, gastronomy, and a slower pace over loud music or a party-style beach club.
- Minimum age policy: guests must be 14 years or older. Children under 14 are not permitted.
- Pets: pets are not permitted on the island.
- Mandatory pier and park fees: dock tax, National Natural Park fee, and navigation insurance are not included and must be paid in cash before boarding. Current fee details can be reviewed on the Cartagena port fee and National Park fee page.
- Plan differences: Island Day Trip and Bayside Experience include different beverage, massage, and service levels. Review each plan before checkout.
- Health and boarding restrictions: this shared speedboat trip crosses open sea and is not recommended for pregnant travelers, seniors over 70, guests with reduced mobility, serious back or neck conditions, severe motion sickness, or anyone unable to safely board from the pier or shoreline.
- Equipment and water activities: kayaks and snorkeling masks depend on availability, sea visibility, and staff guidance. These are a complement to the quiet island day, not the main focus of the experience.
- Weather and return timing: from November to February, tide and wind conditions may require an earlier island departure. Shared boat routes and return times can change when the sea or port flow requires it.
- Natural island conditions: water clarity, currents, snorkeling visibility, beach conditions, seaweed, and marine life can vary from day to day. Photos and videos may not reflect the exact conditions on your travel date.
- Cancellation policy: this experience has a flexible 72-hour cancellation policy, unless a different condition is shown during checkout or applies to a special rate.
